Eric Clapton

His “Unplugged” album is what turned me to electric guitar playing.  In my opinion, the greatest white blues guitarist.

Richard Thompson

Fantastic all round musician.  First class song writer and powerfully original guitarist.  Always worth trying to get to grips with his hybrid picking style.

Matt Schofield

Great young talent fusing blues and jazz in his organ trio.  Wonderfully fluid soloing which is a joy to listen to.

John Mayer

Continually showing new sides to his musicality, particularly on his most recent live album “Where the Light Is”.

John Martyn

If you don’t listen to anything else, make sure you listen to his “Solid Air” album.  Incredibly fresh sounding music, even today.
