Happy New Year to you all!

I was lucky enough to receive a few toys to play with this Christmas, one of which was a Rode Video Mic to attach to my Canon 550D so I could get a better sound from my videos.  I finally had a chance to experiment with it today, and here’s a short video clip of me messing around (if you listen closely you’ll hear a little bit of Clapton, Mayer, Albert Collins and some tinges of Matt Schofield):

It seems to produce a decent sound in this kind of environment, but I’m keen to test it with the full band to see how it copes with extreme volume.
